Sandra is an artist who uses her own photography as the basis for her work and combines traditional materials and processes alongside the latest technology. She enjoys this interaction and unique method of working and moves with ease from one medium to another.
Whilst some of her panoramic photographic images appear to capture the immediacy of the moment, they force us to question our perception of reality. For far from spontaneous, these images are highly considered, developed and manipulated. Sandra uses Photoshop as a painter, thus using her drawing and painting skills so competently they are imperceptible.
